Dr. Swetamber P. Das has been serving as an Assistant Professor at SRM University - AP since July 2024.
He is a dynamical systems theorist with a recent focus on non-equilibrium physics.
He obtained his PhD under the guidance of Prof. Neelima M. Gupte at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras in March 2018.
He was a Visiting Scientist at the Max Planck Institute for the Physics of Complex Systems in Dresden, Germany,
from Oct. 2017 to Jan. 2020. Following this, he held the position of Research Assistant Professor at the University
of Massachusetts Boston, USA, from Sep. 2020 to May 2024.
Ms. Jasmine Suresh is an undergraduate student pursuing a Physics honors degree at SRM University - AP.
She joined the group in Feb. 2025.
Mr. Gagan Sai Mesa is a senior undergraduate student in Physics at SRM University–AP, who joined the group in Sep. 2025. His research interests lie in econophysics, applying physical principles and statistical models to understand financial market dynamics. He focuses on technical and fundamental analysis and the use of AI-driven trading systems. He is also involved in scientific visualization, creating physics-based animations that combine analytical insight with creativity. His broader aim is to connect science, technology, and art through innovative and interdisciplinary work.
